Why We Made Eclipse
We are here to meaningfully improve people's state of mind. We do that by providing a product that actually works.
The human brain did not evolve for modern life.
Compared to the age of the brain, our society is incredibly new. This mismatch between our old brain, and new environment has a significant impact on the way we feel about and interact with the world.
Thousands of years ago, humans had to worry to survive. There were dangers lurking around every corner, and the people who worried about these things and prepared for them were the ones who lived. But that isn't the case anymore. Now we live in a world of plenty, with few immediate dangers, and more opportunity than ever before! However, that hasn't stopped people from becoming hyperfixated on anxious thoughts--thoughts which would have been beneficial in the dangerous world of the past, but are now mostly unncecessary.
We designed Eclipse to be a delicious gummy that helps put people in the right headspace to operate in the world as it is today. We live in a good place, so we should feel good too! And the better we feel, the more good we can do for ourselves and those around us!
How We Made Eclipse
Eclipse is more than just a gummy. It's an idea, a community, and a way of living. Rob Almasi, the founder of Eclipse Brands, has been experimenting with different ways of maximizing how he thinks and feels for almost a decade. And through countless trials and errors has come up with the formula that makes Eclipse what it is: a feel good, do good food!
By experimenting with different ingredients, and methods of consuming them, Rob realized that it doesn't just matter what we consume, but how we consume it as well. Many of the ingredients in Eclipse can be taken in pill form, or as dry powders, but this proved to be a very bland or sometimes gross experience, and weighing out each ingredient was a tedious and time consuming process. Thus the effects gained from the ingredients weren't as effective at helping achieve a positive state of mind as they could have been. This led to the eventual synthesis of Eclipse: a gummy with all natural ingredients, designed to taste good and help you feel great!
